Although not perhaps as lively as some more compact resorts, the sprawling town of Bourg has a fair few venues to spend an evening after hopping off the funicular. As the town hasn't been designed for tourists, you'll also find some great 'local' hangouts and authentic alpine bars and restaurants.
Boasting delicious cocktails and a fantastic mix of live music and sport on the big screen, Ambiente Café (+33 479 07 49 51) is a great place to catch up with friends or watch a local band perform.
With its sunny terrace and stylish, contemporary interior, Black and White (+33 479 09 22 25) on the Avenue du Stade is a lively, friendly place with a good drinks list and a laid-back atmosphere.
After dark, the party continues in Diesel Club (+33 479 04 15 89) - one of Bourg's most popular spots to dance the night away. Diesel has long been inviting the region's best DJs, and playing a blend of electro, rock and hip hop.
