Hotel L’Eau Vive is a traditional chalet-style hotel located just 100m from the Lingua ski lift enabling effortless access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. The main village centre is just over 2km away, and can be accessed with the free resort shuttle.

Rooms are comfortable and feature wooden furnishings, flat screen TV and some have their own balcony.

After a day on the slopes guests can enjoy an après-ski beer in the bar, before feasting on Savoyard delights in the elegant restaurant.

Families & Children

Hotel L’Eau Vive is ideal for families particularly with very young children. Kids can play in the designated kiddie room, under the supervision of their parents, where there is a selection of toys and books. A baby changing room complete with bath and changing table is available. Not old enough to ski yet? No problem, sledges are at your disposal. There is even a microwave in the restaurant for warming the little ones food and a list of shops offering buggy hire in reception.

Location

Located just 100m from the Linga lift Hotel L’Eau Vive is great for easy access to the Portes du Soleil. There are plenty of ski rental shops around the hotel and one or two restaurants. The main resort centre is just over 2km away and can be accessed via the free local shuttle service.

Directions

The quickest and easiest route to Chatel from Geneva is taking the route round the north side of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman). Bear in mind you will require a Swiss Vignette for the motorway (costs 40€) which can be bought easily at the border. From Geneva follow the E25/E62 all the way round to Junction 21. Exit the motorway and take the 201 route to Chatel which will become the D22 when you cross the Swiss/French border. Continue along this route until you reach Chatel. In Chatel, at the church, take a sharp left on to the D228A, Route de Linga and continue all the way along to the junction. At the junctions turn left on to Route de Pre la Joux. Continue along the road and you will see the Hotel Eau Vive on your left.

Check-in is available from 4pm to 7.30pm.

It is the guest's responsibility to arrive between the hours of check-in. In the case of late arrival, guests must notify the property reception on the telephone number provided, otherwise access to the accommodation cannot be guaranteed.
