Relaxing massages with essential oils are offered here on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons by appointment. It’s open in the afternoons until 7.30pm daily and is accessed by shuttle bus line F.

The Carlina Hôtel (138, chemin des Eboulis - BP 22; +33 (0) 4 50 02 43 48; has a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi with beauty treatments and massages available by appointment daily from 9am to 8pm. The hotel’s spa specialises in oriental “La Sultane de Saba” care for face and body including hot stones, Balinese and shiatsu massages as well as reflexology, wraps and hydro-massages too.

The Iba Institut in the Alpen Roc Hotel (382, route des Grandes Alpes; +33 (0) 4 50 02 41 42; balneo-laclusaz.fr) is a certified balneotherapy centre with jet showers, massage, body and facial treatments and body wraps on offer.

The Beauregard Hôtel (90, sentier du Bossonnet; +33 (0) 4 50 32 68 00; is another high quality spa facility with sauna, steam room, jet showers and Jacuzzi.

The Beauvoir Institut (483, route du Col des Aravis; +33 (0) 4 50 64 86 15; beauvoir-institut.com) employs qualified physiotherapists, osteopaths and dieticians to offer osteopathy, massages, ayurvedic treatments, reflexology, yoga, spa and beauty treatments using mountain plants from Les Fermes de Marie in Megeve.

Finally Sheela Zen (88, impasse des Oiseaux; +33 (0) 6 66 78 60 50; sheelazen.com) is a visiting massage service. Sheela, a state qualified nurse, offers 15-60 minute massages in your accommodation including Indian massage using oil, Japanese acupressure and reflexology.
