The Residence Les Glaciers is a four storey chalet style building comprising 10 well equipped studio and one bedroom apartments. Each apartment has its own balcony offering stunning alpine views.

Its excellent location, 700m from the Grand Massif cable car and in the heart of Samoen’s bustling town centre, makes it an ideal family choice.

Kids will find plenty of entertainment in the evening at the ice-rink across the road from the residence. The ski school and nursery are also nearby.

  • 2 adults & 2 kids stayed for New Years week , we thought the residence des glaciers was well appointed and well positioned. The kitchen was better equipped than we expected and the apartment was also larger than expected. The apartment was across the road from the ski bus stop and the journey to the grand massive express took only 4 / 5 minutes. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation and the village .

If you don’t fancy cooking one night then treat yourself to a night out at nearby sister hotel. The restaurant serves traditional hearty Savoyard food washed down with the local digestif, Genepi, in the bar. The central location of the residence also means there are plenty of eating options close by.

Location

The Residence Les Glaciers is in a quite spot in the centre of Samoens with plenty restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The Grand Massif Express cable car is only 700m from the residence and there is a shuttle bus which stops at the front door.

Directions

You will arrive into Samoens from the Geneva/Taninges direction on the D907 also known as the Grande Rue. Continue along this road towards the tourist office and take the sixth road on your right, the Rue de la Gare. Then take a left into Avenue des Loisirs, passing the tourist office and ski school on your left. When you reach the roundabout go all the way round as if you are going back on yourself and come off on to the Rue de la Gare, which runs parallel to the Avenue des Loisirs you have just come down. The ski school will now be on your left. Follow the round round to the right and then turn right onto Rue des Glaciers, the Residence Les Glaciers will be on your right.

Check-in is available from 3pm to 6.30pm on Saturday only.

It is the guest's responsibility to arrive between the hours of check-in. In the case of late arrival, guests must notify the property reception on the telephone number provided, otherwise access to the accommodation cannot be guaranteed.
