  • Excellent hotel with great location beside the main ski centre and lifts. and staff. Bedroom very spacious and the public sitting areas were lovely. Staff were all fantastic very helpful - even carrying your skis up the stairs and and removing ski boots at the end of a hard day on the slopes!

Spa and Wellness Area

The elegant and minimalist spa surrounds a large indoor pool and contains a sauna, Turkish baths and treatment rooms to indulge in. Beauty treatments and massages are available by appointment from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 8pm. Access to the other facilities is from 10am to 8pm daily.

Restaurants, Dining & Bars

The hotel restaurant is well established as a renowned venue of fine dining. Guests can enjoy a varied menu cooked to the highest quality. Lunch can be enjoyed on the south facing terrace with a prime location facing the slopes. An extensive breakfast buffet is on offer in the restaurant from 7.30 to 10am.

The Fitz Roy is located in the centre of Val Thorens and provides easy access to all that the town has to offer, from bars and restaurants to nightclubs and concerts. Guests can ski straight from the door and are only a short distance from the lifts.

Directions

By plane:
Geneva Airport is 158 km away. There is also Lyon Saint-Exupéry 198 km away and Chambéry-Savoie 121 km away. From all of the above there is the possibility to transfer to Val Thorens by bus (Altibus) or by taxi or take the train

By train:
The closest SNCF train station is in Moûtiers-Salins which is 37 km away. Bus or taxi transfers are available to reach Val Thorens. Rental cars are also available.

By road:
Take the N90 from Albertville towards Moûtiers. From Moûtiers, take the D117 or D96 towards Val Thorens and follow Grande Rue into the centre of the town to find the hotel.
