The living area sleep 2 with 2 single sofa-beds and there is a separate alcove with bunk beds for a further 2 people.

Please note that the upper bunk is unsuitable for children under 6 years old.

Most apartments are split over 2 levels. The living area sleeps 2 with 2 sofa beds. There is an alcove with bunkbeds and 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds or 1 double bed or bunk beds (recommended for children)

  • Great value, no frills but well eqiupped ski in/ski out accommodation. Short ski (not suitable for complete beginners) down to ski school and main ski lifts. Ski right back to ski room, no need to carry skis which was great with kids. There are 4 buildings in the complex. We requested to stay in the Elan building which is the one with the pool (open 5-7pm) and really good restaurant. 2 min walk to supermarket and good pizza/pasta take away, sledging slope outside the building. Our apartment slept 7, had a double room, bunk room and 3 sofa beds in living room - perfect for 2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 6 and 4. Would stay there again.

With the in-house bar you can ski to your accomodation and enjoy a few après drinks and if you don't fancy cooking you make use of the restaurant in the Elan building which is part of the residence.

Sports & Recreation Facilities

Make good use of the outdoor heated swimming pool and take in the tremendous alpine views after a hard day skiing.

Location

Located in Valmeiner 1800, right next to the piste and just 300m walk from the centre of town.

Directions

On entering Valmeinier 1500, continue through the town following the signs to Valmeinier 1800. On arrival at Valmeinier 1800, head through the centre of town, past the main lifts on your left, take the u-bend up the hill and select the right hand fork. Résidence Le Thabor is located at the head of the next bend. Check in for the residence is in the Elan building.

Long stay (Saturday to Saturday): Check in opens at 5pm until the close of reception (see reception hours)

Short stay (2-6 nights): Check in opens at 4pm until he close of reception (see reception hours)

It is the guest's responsibility to arrive between the hours of check-in. In the case of late arrival, guests must notify the property reception on the telephone number provided, otherwise access to the apartment cannot be guaranteed.

Security deposit of €200 to €500 to be paid at check-in.

On arrival, if there are any issues with cleanliness these should be reported to the Residence Manager immediately.
