Davos has a complete identity away from winter sports as a health and spa resort. There are more than a dozen private medical facilities, many specifically geared to help improve the physical well being of their clients. At the same time many of the four- and five-star hotels offer luxurious leisure spa facilities. So, in short, Davos is one of the world’s leading destinations for spa and well-being facilities and services.
The Eau-là-là Wellness and Pleasure Pool Centre (eau-la-la.ch) is in the resort centre and contains both adventure pools and a wellness oasis. There’s a steam bath, two solariums, a Finish sauna and an open-air whirlpool.
In the Hotel Sunstar Park there is a public thermal, spa and sauna area extending over an area of more than a thousand square metres. There’s an indoor swimming pool (20 x 15 m, 28°C), steam bath, solarium, saunas, massage showers, foot baths and Roman thermal baths with four climatic zones. There’s also a Finnish-style sauna building in the hotel garden, a beauty salon and a fitness and weights room and a full range of massage treatments available.
Other facilities include the Waldhotel Davos which has a solar-heated indoor swimming pool (34°C) with Jacuzzi beds, massage jets, counter-flow system and neck jets.
