Grindelwald has both public and private spa facilities. The resort’s sports centre (+41 (0)33 854 12 30; sportzentrum-grindelwald.ch) has a wellness area next to the public swimming pool, which incorporates a steam bath, sauna and solarium and offers a variety of massage services. The complex also has a foot spa and a rest room with views of the Eiger.
A dozen Grindelwald hotels also offer spa facilities, some only open to their guests, but some open to non-residents too, most with views of the Eiger.
A number of hotels have saunas and whirlpools available for guests, the Caprice also has a health-fountain with hay-flower pool, Finnish sauna, and Turkish steam-bath, and the Parkhotel Schönegg has a solarium.
The Hotel Belvedere ‘s Antigua Wellness-Centre has a small swimming pool (6x14 meters - 30° C), indoor hot tub, sauna, bio sauna, steam room and a new outdoor salt water Jacuzzi
The Selfness Oasis in the Hotel Eiger has a pool, sauna, herbal sauna, fitness machines, steam-baths and blossom-pool as well as massage services.
The Grand Hotel Regina’s spa is linked to the hotel by an underground passageway and incorporates a glacier steam-bath, herbal hut pool, salt-water pool, crystal cave and a foot spa in the rocks.
The four star Hotel Sunstar has one of the biggest Wellness Oasis in the resort with a 1,200 square metre spa, pool and sauna complex. A wide variety of massages, face-packs and baths are all offered.
