On the mountain:

For dining options on the mountain at Big Sky there are only a couple of options, however, with the Village being right at the foot of the slopes it is easy enough to pop back to your accommodation or enjoy one of the village eateries for lunch. The options on the slopes for a quick ski by meal are the Black Kettle Soup Company, right under the Lone Peak chair or the Black Kettle Burrito Company, located on Jay Walk at the top of the Swift Current lift – both these do exactly as they say and offer a range of snacks with indoor and outdoor seating. Alternatively, try the Shedhorn Grill, under the Shedhorn chair and enjoy the fire inside or the views from the deck outside whilst fuelling up on a burger or bratwurst prepared on the outdoor grill.

Off the mountain:

Off the mountain there is a good range of options from light snacks to hearty meals available at the Mountain Village and even more available if you travel to Meadow Village or Canyons. Some of our favourites are The Corral, just a little out of town, this steakhouse is super friendly and well worth the trip. If you are looking for a fun and casual meal then give Yeti Dogs a try, gourmet hot dogs served with inventive flavours and not forgetting the famous Yeti sauce! Andiamo is a relative newcomer and serves delicious Italian classics, perfect for carb loading before a big day on the mountain! China café is a great shout if you are looking for something a little different from the usual grills, a family run enterprise, without doubt the best cuisine in town. Lastly, for a real mountain experience, Fondue Stube serves up a classic fondue. The restaurant is located at Huntley lodge and is only open during the winter season – get in here for a true alpine taste experience!
