Overview of Crested Butte Ski Resort

Crested Butte has some of the best extreme skiing Colorado has to offer as well as a selection of perfectly groomed pistes, friendly locals and a quirky town, making it a perfect choice for a unique stay in Colorado!

The old town of Crested Butte stands about 3 miles from the base of the mountain. The town is steeped in the history of its mining roots and the bright victorian shopfronts of the main street serve as a reminder that there was alot more to Crested Butte before skiing came along! In recent years though Crested Butte has first and foremost become a ski town, laid back and unpretentions, nestled below some of Colorado's best extreme terrain.

Recently, the moutain resort has been developed to provide ski in/ski out accommodation and slopeside shops and restuarants at the base of the mountain. The mountain resort and the old town are linked by a regular shuttle bus service so it's easy to pop into town for the evening if you are staying up at the mountain.
