As with most North American resorts, Crested Butte, does not really have an on-piste aprés scene. However, a trip to The Ice Bar at Uley's cabin is a unique experience, not to be missed! Once you get down from the mountain, hit the sundeck at Avalanche and Butte 66 where for a couple, it doesn’t get too wild there and its really family friendly but they do show sports and the atmosphere really kicks off when there is a game on!
If you are looking for something a little more rowdy then your probably won’t find it in Crested Butte however, head into the old town where you can experience a true wild west evening in some of the town's old saloon bars. Kochevar’s Saloon is the oldest bar in town and a great place to feel the character of Crested Butte come to life. Similarly The Talk of the Town is full of lively local’s fuelled by the cheap drinks on offer, there is plenty to keep you entertained in here with video games, pool tables and shuffle boards!

If you are looking for something a little more upmarket then head for a cocktail or two at Dogwood Cocktail Cabin or Montanya Distillary where you can delight in one of their signature recipes, we’ll warn you, we’ve heard they are strong! If you need something to help you back on the wagon the next day then try out the make-your-own-bloody-bar at The Last Steep. It is open 11am-4pm every Saturday and Sunday, voted best Bloody Marys in Crested Butte by the locals… they must be good. The Last Steep is also a great bar and grill every other night of the week and they serve late, the perfect place to grab a bite and one last beer for the road home.
