Restaurants, Dining & Bars
You could be forgiven for gaining a few kilos with the huge choice of restaurants at the Village. Choices include Firesize Pizza Company which won ‘Best New Restaurant’ and ‘Best Family Dining’ awards, Mamasake Sushi which serves up sushi and sake, Blue Coyote Sports Grill where huge screens show all the latest sports matches, Soupa: a cafe with soups and sandwiches, Uncorked: a cheese and wine bar with the choice to eat in or buy quality wines and a traditional Irish pub, The Auld Dubliner.
Spa & Wellness
It is important to relax and the Village at Squaw Valley encourages you to do this with 8 outdoor Jacuzzis. Rest and recharge your weary body in the hot bubbling water, and there are even heated walkways so you won’t have to deal with piles of snow on the sidewalk. Enjoy some heat in one of two saunas that are close to the gym.
Sports & Recreation Facilities
For a post-ski workout head down to the fitness centre where a range of equipment will harness your energy. Spend some time and maybe some money in the wide variety of shops which ranges from sports to designer clothes to bath products. Have a quick game of billiards or socialise around the fire pits as the snow falls softly down around you and your friends and family.
Families & Children
The Village at Squaw Valley is an ideal place for families. There are endless restaurants to eat in, and lots of shops for the whole family to browse in. At the end of the day the whole family can gather around one of the fire pits to discuss the fun day of skiing that you have just had. A babysitting service is available if the parents want to head out and grab a few beers.
