Daria-I Nor is a great addition to the self-catering options in Alpe d'Huez. These stunning apartments offer plenty of space and excellent facilities such as the swimming pool and spa, as well as two on-site restaurants with culinary delights if you don't wish to cook.

The residence is located in a peaceful area on the edge of the resort centre with easy access to the Alpe Express gondola taking you to ski lifts in Les Bergers.

  • The apartment was extremely nice, the pool and wellness centre was good and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very close to the free gondola down to the centre but not really ski in, ski out. However, overall very nice accomodation.

  • We are just back from a fabulous week in Alpe D'Huez. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartments 3 years ago and going back it did not disappoint. It was perfectly clean, the staff were very responsive to any issues or extras needed and the pool was lovely and quiet. The staff in the ski shop were amazing, so helpful every day and being able to walk on the lift or ski back was great. The hotel lounge was fabulous, lovely friendly staff and super food.
    It would be lovely to get bathrobes in the apartments as there was only one changing room open in the swimming pool area and the towels given weren't really big enough to use while walking around but apart from that it was perfect.
    I really hope we manage to go back one day!

  • The Daria-I-Nor hotel is genuinely 5 stars ; everything was perfect and as promised. Absolutely recommend it , the hotel and and the attached apartments are luxurious and ideally positioned for both the town and the slopes.

  • The apartment surpassed our expectations! The whole building smelled so clean, the apartment was spotless, comfy beds and decent sound proofing. Being located on the 3rd floor we just walked along the corridor to collect our boots and skis. Amazing service! We hope to be back.

  • We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a bunk bed alcove. The apartment was lovely, modern and very clean. It had two bathrooms and a separate WC which was a bonus for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and utensils and had a dish washer, cooker and microwave. The ski lockers and boot heaters were excellent. Access to the lift was a short walk up a path opposite the hotel. There was only a couple of small bug bears - the automatic lights in the hall meant that every time someone on the bottom bunk bed moved at night the lights came on and there was no wash hand basin in the WC. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Daria-I Nor has a beautiful spa area complete with swimming pool, steam room and sauna, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the piste. For those who wish to work-out there is a modest gym room with cardio machines.

Restaurants, Dining & Bars

With two on-site restaurants at the neighbouring Hotel Daria-i-nor; the traditional La Table du Daria and the upscale L'Amethyste, there is no need to venture into the town for dinner. Have a drink in the bar first, and enjoy spectacular views from the sunny terrace over a long lunch. Restaurant prices are available and payable locally.

Location

Walking distance from the centre of Alpe d'Huez, the Residence Daria-I Nor boasts a fantastic location. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the resort centre but close enough to easily enjoy all that Alpe d'Huez has to offer. If you don't fancy the short walk to town, there is even a free shuttle bus. Access to the slopes is easy with the Alpe Express telecabine accessible from the 3rd floor of the residence. This lift takes you to the base of the Les Bergers ski slopes.

Directions

From either Geneva or Grenoble approach Alpe d'Huez via the N85, turning onto the D1091 at Vizille and finally turning onto the D211 at Le Bourg d'Osians. Follow the winding D211 all the way up to Alpe d'Huez and the residence will be situated on your left as you approach via L'Eclose.
