Arosa Resort Attractions
Despite the plethora of exciting new snow sports available in Arosa, there’s still nothing really to beat the simple fun of sledging, an activity enjoyed in Arosa for over 100 years.
There are 4.5 kilometres (nearly three miles) of toboggan runs above Arosa, with the most popular descent from Prätschli to the village floodlit for evening use. A free bus service takes you back up to the start for another kilometre long run. Sledges can be hired in most ski rental shops.
Other routes include a 600 metre track from the Tschuggenhütte served by the Innerarosa-Tschuggen chairlift or the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car (get off at the middle station). Sledges are carried free of charge.
The longest descent is the 2.8km track from Arosa (Untersee) to Litzirüti. Take the Rhätische Bahn back to the resort from here.
