Although the up-market clientele of Crans Montana may give it a somewhat staid feel to first time visitors, the size of the resort means that there are plenty of opportunities to party in dozens of bars if you are looking for a lively night after the ski day ends.
But that mature, well-heeled market also means there are more than the usual selection of sophisticated lounge and cocktail bars, as well as several classy nightclubs to choose from, or even the casino.
At the ‘young and lively’ end venues like Monk's Bar (Rue Centrale 19) and the G&D Pub (Rue du Grand-Place 7) are usually busy while Leo's Bar (Rue Centrale 23) is rather more laid-back and glossy, while those with Francs to spare may also opt for the Caviar House & Prunier (Rue Centrale 46). If you fancy a local brew, there’s nothing more local than ‘ La Marmotte’ beer which is brewed in Crans-Montana, at the Brasserie la Marmotte which produces 40,000 litres a year. You’ll find it in most of the bars in Crans-Montana.
For dancing until dawn the four choices include the ultra-cool Le Pacha Club (Rue du Prado 7).
