Davos Resort Attractions
Toboganning is big in Davos and another thing for which the resort is famous. Davos was a pioneer in sledging as an international sport, staging the first official race in 1883. It's also where the “Davoser” sledge was first made. It’s a little slower than the traditional sledge and you sit up more upright to ride it but it remains the country’s best selling sledge.
The town has three toboggan runs totalling more than 10km in length, with two thirds of that floodlit for night runs. The longest is the 4km descent from the Wiesner Alp to- Davos Wiesen.

Shopping
There are several hundred shops in Davos and it’s a good choice for groups containing a shopaholic or two. There is the full range of town-size shopping including numerous fashion boutiques, with a good few retailing haute couture for the resort’s well heeled clientele, but more regular clothing stores too. There are also plenty of Swiss souvenir shops and ample choices for investing in watches, jewellery or a giant bar of Toblerone.
