Spa Facilities

The jewel of this hotel is its spa which features a fantastic range of heated and cold rooms that will rejuvenate and relax your body after you have skied all day. Begin by lying on hot stones that will induce a natural sweat, then continue into the scented sauna. Wash off the dirt in the outdoor atrium which has freezing water to close those pores. Clear out your lungs in the Mountain Flowers Steam Bath and then relax on a heated water bed and listen to music from personal headphones.

Restaurants, Dining & Bars

If food is as important to you as skiing on your holiday then you will be delighted to know that that the Mirabeau has an excellent reputation for it’s restaurants. You can enjoy a buffet breakfast and then free cakes in the afternoons. The ‘Zermatta’ restaurant is low-key while the ‘Corbeau d’Or’ serves gourmet meals and is in the Guide Michelin. Josef’s Wine Lounge is ideal for tasting excellent wine from Switzerland and around the world and the Kamin Bar is great for just grabbing a drink.

Spa & Wellness

Treat yourself to one of the amazing and inviting treatments on offer in the hotel. These range from being covered in a chocolate balsam that is massaged in and is excellent for skin-care, to organic facial treatments using local Alpine herbs, to excellent massages and a water-cradle couch where you can sink into a relaxed state. Or jump into the newly refurbished indoor swimming pool which has a counter current and massage jets, there is also a new public whirlpool.

Families & Children

This hotel is not an obvious choice for families but it would still be a good option. There is a swimming pool to keep kids entertained and the restaurant has a children’s menu so that younger ones can choose what they want to eat.

Location

The Hotel Mirabeau is located on the north side of the resort. It is about 300 metres walk from the train station and 400 metres from the Gornergrat Tram. The main street Bahnhofstrasse is also around just 500 metres away, this is where the majority of shops and restaurants are located.

Directions

When you arrive close to Zermatt, you have two choices, you can either take a taxi to the border of the town or you can get the train. Hotel Mirabeau will pick you up from either of these spots, you just need to call and let them know what time you will be arriving. Please note that Zermatt is a car free resort and so you need to park further out from the village.
