Mammoth current lacks a luxury spa, but there are lots of smaller facilities thriving in the absence of a big player.

There are several day spas in Mammoth. Body works (+1 (760)924 3161) is the town’s original spa, located in Mammoth Luxury Outlets. It has a hot whirlpool spa, sun tan beds and staff trained in a wide range of spa treatments and massage techniques.

Belladonna in the Best Western (3228 Main St., +1 (760) 934 3344) has a similar selection of service and facilities including a fireside treatment room.

The Healing Arts Center and Movement Studio (645 Old Mammoth Rd; Sherwin Plaza; +1 (760) 924 3223) offers massage and treatments including Oriental body work and facials. The Movement Studio offers yoga and pilates classes among others. Daylights Healing Touch (306 Laurel Mountain Road; +1 (760) 935 4448) offers Reiki ll energy massages, salt scrubs, mud wraps and cranio-sacral treatments.

The Creekside Spa in the Double Eagle Hotel (5587 Hwy 158; +1 (760) 648 7004) at nearby June Lake has twin tubs, hot tub, Eucalyptus steam rooms and treatment rooms with fireplace as well as a small swimming pool.

The Westin Monache (The 50 Hillside Drive; +1 (760) 934 0400) in the new Village is one of many hotels in the area with an outdoor pool. It also has two hot tubs and a gym.

Mountain Mobile Massage (306 Laurel Mountain Rd; +1 (760) 709 1329) will carry out in-room massages at your accommodation. You will also find hair salons, nail bars and other beaty specialists in Mammoth Lakes.
