Given Vail’s reputation for quality, luxury and abundance, it’s no surprise to know that the resort’s spa culture is thriving with a rich choice of venues – at least a dozen in fact.

One of the biggest (10,000 square feet), newest and best is at the The Arrabelle's RockResorts Spa ) which has 11 top notch treatment rooms of which two are specially designed just for facials. There’s also a hydrotherapy room, a massage and a dry treatment room, plus wet rooms with Vichy and Swiss showers as well as a whirlpool, steam room and dry sauna. Treatment rooms are also available for families and groups and of course there’s a vast array of spa treatments available. The complex also includes a fitness centre and a full-service nail salon.

A second, slightly-smaller but still fairly large spa RockResorts Spa has opened at the new The Lodge at Vai. Again there are 11 treatment rooms, one of which is a very special couples’ treatment room complete with a tub for two. There is also a wet treatment room, again two rooms just for facials and seven massage rooms. Along with fitness room, steam bath and whirl pools there’s a movement studio for yoga and Pilates.
