It’s never been difficult to see why families are spellbound by Avoriaz. The fantastic amenities, incredible, varied ski area and proximity to Geneva make the unique resort just that little bit more enticing, and we’re never short of reasons to go.
Last summer, Avoriaz opened a one-of-a-kind water park. It’s special because – apart from being a tropical jungle situated at 1800 metres, amongst snow-covered mountains – the complex has been designed to perfectly mimic the natural environments of a huge selection of plants imported from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia.
So if you didn’t fancy splashing about in the wild river or gliding around on the amazing water half pipe, you could just sit back in the Jacuzzi, close your eyes and imagine you’re basking in the heat of the Southeast Asian sun.
