If you think the ski season is almost over, think again! A huge number of resorts stay open right up to the beginning of May.

Skiing in March and April is fantastic. It's great value, temperatures are warmer, it's quieter, the days are longer and at higher altitude you’ve got a whole season’s worth of snow as a base to ski on. Plus, there’s way more après ski options on offer in resort with terraces and outside bars holding the sun right into the early evening.

So where's good to go late season skiing? Our top tip would be to head high. Resorts with ski areas above 2000m with north facing slopes and glaciers are great as they hold the snow for much longer
