Just 2 days ago Lake Tahoe received another fresh dump of powder off the back of a bumper record breaking winter.

With 800 inches of snow this winter the Tahoe resorts are sitting on some of the deepest snowpack in history. The Squaw Valley Ski Resort is even planning to be open for the weekend of Independence Day as late as July 4th!
Squaw Valley will operate 5 of its ski lifts from 8 am until 2pm and the weekend will even include a dedicated T-shirt to celebrate the occasion.
