Powderbeds is delighted to report that one of our top residences Le Village at Arc 1950, is opening a huge, new spa complex for this coming season which is sure to make this brilliant resort even better than before.

Already with access to swimming pools and fitness rooms, guests can now look forward to being to being seriously pampered at the new Spa facility which is due to open in Arc 1950, one of the highest altitude bases in Les Arcs ski resort this coming season.

The resort is in the process of completing a fabulous new Wellness and Beauty Centre that will be run by Deep Nature, a beauty brand that is famous in both France and further afield.  The new development will be a great addition to the resort and is bound to shake things up in the Les Arcs spa scene.

This fantastic new development will include a 25m indoor swimming pool complete with a 95m² ‘beach’ where guests will be able to take it easy.

Le Village Arc 1950 is already hugely popular with PowderBeds customers

A space dedicated to steam rooms will cover 95m² and will include a traditional steam room that will be able to seat 10 people, and a much smaller one for 4 people described as being ‘dedicated to the five senses’.

In a twist to the more traditional ski resort spa area, a sauna will be located in an outdoor chalet.

Continuing with more unusual features, guests will be able to cool down in the cold water waterfall. A full body scrub in the especially dedicated room could be followed by a dip in one of the four cold water ponds or the spring.

To top off these more curious facilities there is going to be a 67m² ‘ice cave’ with ‘mineral experiences’ for guests to try and if that is not enough a ‘dragon cave’ will also be available. It will be heated at 40 degrees and will cover 20m².

Le Village Arc 1950 is great for those looking to combine luxury with ski in ski out convenience

There will be no less than nine treatment rooms, including one VIP one, in an esthetical space covering 208m². To ensure that a full body makeover will be possible a ‘Hair spa’, nail salon and a make-up cabin are also going to be available. Finally guests will be pleased to unwind in front of the fireplace in the 75m² relaxation room that is to be decorated in a forest style.

At Powderbeds we are all excited and intrigued to see what these new facilities are going to be like and we would appreciate any feedback from any guests that are lucky enough to try them out in the coming season.

Les Arcs is certainly planning for the future with Arc 1950 aiming to ‘position itself as a top of the four star range’ with this brand new venture which is sure to transform the whole village.
