Located just a few minutes' walk from the slopes, Hotel Avancher is ideal for an easy ski holiday.

With the town centre only five minutes' walk away and a free shuttle stop just at hand, the Hotel Avancher is away from the noise of the nightlife but still ideally located for all amenities. Guests can ski straight to the back of the hotel when coming off the slopes.

Unwind in the steam room and soak in the Jacuzzi while you gaze out the window at the Face de Bellevarde. There's even an outdoor sauna.

Later on, enjoy a gourmet meal in Restaurant Avancher followed by a drink in the bar.

Wellness with a view

The Avancher's wellness area enjoys views over the Face de Bellevarde, so you can take in the mountains while soaking in the Jacuzzi. There is also a steam room, and even an outdoor sauna. For the ultimate in self-care, head to the salon for a haircut.

Restaurants, Dining & Bars

Open from 11 am, the Avancher's chic bar has offerings varying from coffee to cocktails. You can also enjoy a light lunch or whet your appetite for dinner with a charcuterie board before heading on to the restaurant. Restaurant Avancher focuses on fresh local produce lovingly crafted into gourmet cuisine. Please note the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Location

Hotel L'Avancher is just 500 metres from the resort centre and only 100 metres from a bus stop for the free resort shuttle.

You can ski to the back of the hotel and in the morning it's only 280 metres to the slopes.

Directions

From Albertville, follow signs for Moûtiers, then Bourg St Maurice, and finally Val d'Isère. You will drive through the main centre of the resort and the Avancher is on your right.

Please bear in mind that the Saint-Bernard and Iseran cols are both closed during the winter season.

Half board must be ordered at time of booking, at which time any allergies or diets must be specified. Any alterations to the menu must be requested before 12 midday and are subject to acceptance. No meal can be refunded. Half board does not include drinks (either soft or alcoholic).
