One of the most exciting ski resorts of the French alps, Tignes sits at a snowsure altitude of 2100m above sea level and with the longest ski season in the Alpes. Last year Tignes was the first European resort to feature the X-games. The video below shows snowboarder Iouri Podladtchikov’s run that sealed gold at the Tignes 2010 SuperPipe. He was the second person ever to land a Double McTwist 1260 in competition scoring a stupendous 98.0, check out his run below.
