Resort Attractions

The key attraction of Les Carroz is its natural state, so it’s worth taking time off the piste to just explore the beautiful scenery that surrounds the village and drink in the peace and quiet. To enjoy this to the fullest there are 10km of way marked paths to enjoy in walking boots or snowshoes. You can also take part in a "snow shoe evening" with dinner in the mountains or a themed walks in the company of a professional, who will talk to you (possibly in French...) about the local environment and history (+33 (0)6 11 32 90 07).

Les Carroz has about 40 shops, half of them ski stores, a quarter food outlets (see separate sections). Beyond these, other ski holiday requirements are covered including newspapers and stationery at the Maison de la Presse (Place des Aravis; +33 (0)4 50 90 01 46), gifts at Image'in (Route des Moulins; +33 (0)4 50 90 35 96) and a chemist in Place des Aravis (+33 (0)4 50 90 00 57).
