Samoëns has around 10 bars and twice as many again bar-restaurants. The village is not the type to get too rowdy, but there are a few establishments that get lively, particularly Covey’s (+33 (0) 4 50 18 21 15), the inevitable Irish pub. La Clarine (+33 (0) 4 50 34 40 11) is a more sophisticated, modern place and the New Clarine Bar (+33 (0) 4 50 34 17 82) is also good.
Bar le Savoie (+33 (0)4 50 34 94 43) on the main square is much more authentic to the village, if usually quieter. The village’s night club has almost the same name as the top club in St Moritz, Le King Club (+33 (0) 4 50 34 48 11).
