Families will enjoy the laid back atmosphere in Valloire and the focus on traditional village values. The slopes include plenty of family-friendly terrain and there’s also lots of fun family activities in the evening, with the resort’s tourist office laying on a full entertainment programme on top of the many facilities for guests. Valloire holds the French government’s highest ‘Famille Plus’ award for its service to families.
Halte Garderie Les Aiglons (+33 (0)4 79 59 03 98) will look after non-skiing children from six months to six years and is open daily from 9am to 5pm except Saturdays. The ski schools offer lessons from age three and operate special snow garden learning areas. Also on the slopes there are three special fun zones for children with mini terrain park features.
