The Sports Club at Les Menuires (+33 (0)4 79 00 64 48; clubsportsmenuires.com) makes a Big Air Bag available to all. The Big Air Bag is a giant inflatable cushion which allows anyone to get some big air then land in safety on the giant cushion. Skiers and boarders of any ability level can try tricks without worrying about how they’ll land upright! The Big Air Bag is available for an hour or two each morning and afternoon: runs landing on it are charged at three Euros for one run or ten Euros for five runs.

Shopping

Les Menuires has many shops, but the vast majority offer ski rentals or are grocery outlets serving the many apartments. The two most important shopping centres are in the Croisette and Les Bruyères sectors. Here you’ll find post office, chemists, photographic store and several souvenir shops.
