As a year-round, working town, Bourg-Saint-Maurice offers a diverse range of non-ski activities and attractions.

Shopping is good in Bourg, with a wider selection of shops and boutiques on offer than in many high altitude resorts. There are a few good clothes and accessories shops, as well as the usual souvenir outlets, gift shops, sport shops and local food stores.
Just on the way out of the town you'll find the swimming centre, offering a 25 metre indoor pool with retractable roof, a learner pool, a 50 metre outdoor pool, outdoor paddling pool, 3 diving boards and a sauna. This is a great place for families to take a day off the slopes or to relax after a morning's skiing. Entrance is free with a 6-day Les Arcs or Paradiski pass.
There's also a cinema in town, showing the latest French and English films.
