Val Chaviere is only 300m from the centre of Val Thorens where the main cluster of restaurants and bars are. We've heard good things about the family run Restaurant Les Clarines where they serve traditional Savoyard dishes and if you're looking for a tasty burger then Crewer is a great option and of course, for apres La Folie Douce is a must.

Guests staying at Val Chaviere have access to the leisure facilities at the sister property Residence Les Balcons de Val Thorens where there is a swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fitness room. The facilities are 950m from Val Chaviere which is about a 15 minute walk.

Location

Val Chaviere is located in a quiet area of Val Thorens right on the piste. The residence is less than 300m from the ESF Place de Caron ski school meeting point and 500m from the supermarket.

Directions

From Moutiers, take the D117 for 37km passing through Saint-Martin-de-Bellevarde, Les Menuires and Les Bruyeres before winding up the mountain towards Val Thorens.

Once you enter Val Thorens you will pass Hotel & Residence Kashmir on your right, continue straight on Grande Rue through the centre of the resort for about 1km until the road forks into two at which point take the road on the right, Rue de la Lombarde. After about 200m Residence Val Chaviere will be on your right.

Cots and high chairs are available to borrow free of charge, however these are subject to availability and must be requested at the time of booking. Baby cots come with mattress but not bedding.
