Vaujany’s small size and high quality facilities make it a good choice for families.

The resort does make a special effort for families, and has received the French government’s Famille Plus label for doing so. This means the village tries to think of everything a family might need and make sure that it is available. A special Families Guide is available free from the tourist office to help you find it all.

In terms of childcare, the Vaujany Nursery (+33 (0)4 76 11 11 94) will look after children aged six months to five years old.

The ski school takes children from age three, with the youngest having a special snow garden learning and snow play area. They will collect your children from the village on request and a combination of day care/ski school is also available for three to five year olds.

For families skiing together and buying passes for the same area and duration at the same time, the lift company provides a 50% discount for all tickets bought after the first three.

Families have an excellent après-ski facility in the shape of the leisure centre which has a great family swimming pool and long water slide. There’s also a range of activities laid on by the resort each week as well as a toboggan run, ice rink and new bowling alley.
