Getting to Bourg St Maurice by train almost couldn't be easier. The Eurostar will take you straight from London St Pancras to Bourg St Maurice, eliminating the hassle of planes and transfers. Depending on where you're coming from the Eurostar is often not just easier but also faster than flying, door to door. 

The overnight snow train service leaves London every Friday and arrives into Bourg St Maurice first thing on Saturday morning, giving you the option of nearly a full day skiing while everyone else is still on their way. Those wishing to avoid travelling at the weekend can also choose from several daily services to Bourg St Maurice, although this will involve changing in Paris from Gare du Nord to Paris Austerlitz, to take the direct TGV service that will get you to Bourg later that afternoon. Geneva Airport - 150 km / approx 2 hours 10 mins

Lyon Airport - 210 km / approx 2 hours 20 mins

Grenoble Airport - 186 km / approx 2 hours

If you are on a budget, Altibus (+33 479 68 32 96) run regular bus transfers to Bourg St Maurice from Chambery, Lyon and Geneva airports.

Bens Busses also operate a regular mini bus service for travel to Bourg St Maurice, generally in time with flights.

Self-Drive

As with all resorts in the Tarentaise, the drive to Bourg St Maurice can be done in a day, but the time it takes from Calais will vary depending on the traffic and the weather and could take from 7-10 hours.
